OUGD 504 - Studio Brief 1

Now that I have covered all of the content that I want to be put into my print dictionary, I need to organise it into sections. I have decided that I would arrange my content into various books, that represent the chronological stages of designing for print.

I struggled thinking of the different categories that I could break my content into, but when looking through the printing that I have done I realised that I have already stated the three main categories of both print and space: ambition, exploration and discovery. Ambition relates to stock, colour and any other initial considerations that need to be taken. Exploration refers to the experimentation process of print, such as processes and finishing; leaving the discovery category covering format, production and the printing of the final outcome.

Now having my categories, I needed to organise all of the words into the three groups. This is what I have got in each book:
